Are the Counters really connected in real-time? Our Instagram Counter update in real-time, i.e once every 6 seconds. This slight delay is because the information has to travel from your Follow, through both Meta’s and our servers, before reaching your Counter. Quite a journey in just a few seconds! :)
Does my Counter start counting from 0, or does it include the Followers I already have? Once your Counter is set up, it will instantly display the exact number of followers you already have on your Instagram business account, in real-time. It will continue to update every time you gain a new follow, regardless of your customers’ proximity to the Counter. Similarly it will update your count when people unfollow your account (arguably a terrible decision).
Can I customize what my Counter displays? The Instagram Counter can only be connected to Instagram Business accounts. If you’d like to connect to Facebook or TikTok, we offer other dedicated Counters for those platforms. You can select the one that fits your needs when purchasing.
Can I connect the Counter to multiple social media accounts? The Counter can only display data from one account at a time, but you can easily switch between different accounts by logging into your my.smiirl.com app.
What is the warranty for Smiirl Counters? All Smiirl Counters come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering any technical issues or defects.
What is the return policy? We want you to feel confident with your Smiirl Counter, which is why we offer a 100-day return policy. This gives you plenty of time to test it out and ensure it’s the perfect fit for your business.
What data does the Counter collect, and is it secure? The Counter only collects the necessary data to display your follower count. We don’t store personal data, and all communications between your Counter and our servers are encrypted to ensure your data is secure.
What’s the lifespan of the Counter, and how durable is it? Our Counters are built to last with high-quality materials. With proper use, they can function for many years. We offer a 2-year warranty, but many of our customers have been using their Counters beyond that with no issues! Many units installed over 10 years ago are still running like it’s day 1 for them.
